Deus Ex Machina is proud to present a short film by Andy Gough - "Black Rain"
The black rain squall rolled overhead. Its downpour came in sideways sheets, turning the clean ocean surface to chatter.
The drops falling heavy pushing deep below the water's surface, joined by the welcome taste of rainwater.
In a matter of minutes the squall had passed and the light offshore returned to groom the empty lineup. Waves peeling down the rocky coast, leaving nothing but turbulent water, only smoothed in time by the returning black rain.
