Hunter Gatherer

Always keen to try something new on two wheels, Jeremy head tech of Deus Camperdown has embraced the world of dirt track sliding. Starting out on a $100.00 Honda XL basket case, Jez needed more and as a result built this champion Kawasaki W650 street/dirt tracker. Given the competitive nature of his peers, the W is known as the Hunter Gatherer, quick to chase down and devour. Smothered in a stealth skin of satin black, the Hunter Gatherer sports Tomaselli bars, a Bates style headlight and Posh indicators. To keep the Pirelli Scorpions in contact with the dirt, rear suspenders are custom Ikon units lengthened for greater travel, while the forks have custom caps installed offering up front adjustment. The custom fenders are alloy with the rear fender housing an LED taillight. The stock airbox was removed and replaced with twin K&N filters, as this puppy needs to breathe. Custom 2 into 1 headers purge gasses into a SuperTrapp performance muffler. Bringing comfort for daily riding is a Nitro Heads tuck roll seat. Jeremy has his sights on a full blown racer, till then you'll find the Hunter Gatherer sliding left, left, left and left again.

On the edge of Harajuku, a bold new sign has risen - The Residence of Impermanence - in Harajuku, Tokyo, is back. Art, surfboards, motorcycles, apparel, café, music - a place where all kinds of enthusiasms collide. Step inside to the Deus Café - a breezy open ceiling space, serving all-day breakfast and the perfect energy for every moment. We're not ones to argue with that. Climb the spiral staircase to surfboards quietly lined against a softly lit backdrop.

Shaped exclusively for the Residence by Takuya “Tappy” Yoshikawa, Tetsuya Ogawa, and Jared Mell, each board is one of a kind. Sofas once beloved at the former Harajuku store — crafted by TRUCK Furniture and Stephen Kenn — have been reupholstered and brought to life for their next chapter. They’ll take on new character with time — just like this place. We invite you to settle in and enjoy the flow.
