Best quiver in Bali?

Best quiver in Bali?
Deus fixture, Steve 'Monty' Montell, pitched up yesterday in his VW Combi loaded to the brim with surfboard history. He unloads his precious cargo and proceeds to arrange them on the lawn, without even a hint of his motives. Once happy with his positioning he shouts "Have i got the most diverse quiver in Bali or what!?"A pretty bold claim on the part of the surf collector, but you know what? I'm pretty sure he's right. A spread of single fin, twin, Thruster and Quad boards from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's is a pretty hard combo to beat. Shapers from different eras and styles, a few to jot down are…Bob McTavish, Peter McCabe, Bill Kaz, Terry Fitzgerald, Micky-T, M.R., Gary Birdsall, Joel Tudor, Geoff McCoy, Greg Clough and Kim 'The Fly' Bradley. "Shapers from Australia, US and NZ shaped these boards and over time I came into and collected what I considered the best from the timeline." says Monty. "and I welcome anyone in Bali to cough up a better quiver." So that's it, the gauntlet has been thrown down, anyone out there who reckons they have him beat, let us know, your quiver could be featured here as the 'Best quiver in Bali' Email information and pictures to info@deus.co.id Yeww!

On the edge of Harajuku, a bold new sign has risen - The Residence of Impermanence - in Harajuku, Tokyo, is back. Art, surfboards, motorcycles, apparel, café, music - a place where all kinds of enthusiasms collide. Step inside to the Deus Café - a breezy open ceiling space, serving all-day breakfast and the perfect energy for every moment. We're not ones to argue with that. Climb the spiral staircase to surfboards quietly lined against a softly lit backdrop.

Shaped exclusively for the Residence by Takuya “Tappy” Yoshikawa, Tetsuya Ogawa, and Jared Mell, each board is one of a kind. Sofas once beloved at the former Harajuku store — crafted by TRUCK Furniture and Stephen Kenn — have been reupholstered and brought to life for their next chapter. They’ll take on new character with time — just like this place. We invite you to settle in and enjoy the flow.
