Emrod One’s “Tales from Bali”

Emrod One’s “Tales from Bali”
Ready to jump into Street Art? I mean right into the very nitty gritty?

In Emrod One’s latest show, graffiti letters free themselves up. They come out and away from their norms & rules. He uproots and unleashes these once wall bound alphabet into his creations, offering a show only limited by your imagination.

While his preferred medium is spray can on walls, his journey from France to Indonesia has triggered experimentation and extended his creative mind, to the universe of Mosaic.

Gathering samples from artists that influenced him, or street art he had the chance to collaborate with, Emrod One composes images assembling from thousands of photographs taken at different times across the globe. Get up close and personal and it's a medley of movement in the space, take a few steps back and you are presented with overlaid imagery evoking other places and times.

A singular work that reveals the contrasts of life and society, with a unique way of immersing art lovers into the world of graffiti.

If you are in or around the Deus Temple of Enthusiasm in Canggu we invite you to come in and enjoy, Emrod One’s Tales from Bali. May 13 – June 11, 2023

Opening night Free flow drinks were kindly provided by Bintang Crystal & Two Island Wines.

On the edge of Harajuku, a bold new sign has risen - The Residence of Impermanence - in Harajuku, Tokyo, is back. Art, surfboards, motorcycles, apparel, café, music - a place where all kinds of enthusiasms collide. Step inside to the Deus Café - a breezy open ceiling space, serving all-day breakfast and the perfect energy for every moment. We're not ones to argue with that. Climb the spiral staircase to surfboards quietly lined against a softly lit backdrop.

Shaped exclusively for the Residence by Takuya “Tappy” Yoshikawa, Tetsuya Ogawa, and Jared Mell, each board is one of a kind. Sofas once beloved at the former Harajuku store — crafted by TRUCK Furniture and Stephen Kenn — have been reupholstered and brought to life for their next chapter. They’ll take on new character with time — just like this place. We invite you to settle in and enjoy the flow.

Same name. New form. The spirit remains, just slightly rearranged. Come in, stay awhile. Find us at 2-32-5 Jingumae, Shibuya-Ku, BPR Square Jingumae 1-1F & 2F Tokyo.
