Racing's on, rain or shine. And Boy, it did! The more the rain done come down, the wider the smiles did got! Glen Helen raceway became a mud pit on Saturday Nov 26th Redbull's Day In The Dirt as a boysterous storm rolled thru late in the afternoon.
The event as a whole is like a family reunion celebrating the whole spectrum of the sport of motocross, bringing together the young pros, old legends, vintage and modern bikes and racers of all ilk, including the Hollywood stunt community.
Lots of fun was had at the TT track, where the more gravity-challenged bikes such as the tank-shifters, hooligan heavies, British twins, and mini's were kicking up the mud at the races run by Meatballs of Hell On Wheels Racing. Deus Racing family member Dimitri Coste was in top form on his TR6 Triumph, "offering up" as he puts it, "another pair of white jeans to the gods of dirt." Classic Dimitri.
