Slightly Adventure - From Zurich to Bali

Slightly Adventure - From Zurich to Bali

Chapter 1

Sometimes adventure is literally calling you.

2 boys, 6 months and one idea: depart from Deus Zurich and go all the way to the Deus Bali store, all on a bike.

Roughly a month ago the design team Slightly Adventure consisting of Nicola and Benjamin decided to start their own fairly big adventure. The boys started their trip in the Deus store in Zurich, equipped with a Honda Dominator and a Royal Enfield Himalayan and of course decked out in full Deus gear.

After a proper farewell party in the Deus store in the heart of Zurich with drinks, food and the right tunes by DJ Ami-Lex, the journey could begin.
So far they crossed 8 borders, including Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Bosnia Herzegovinia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece and Turkey, and the list will go on and on. Boat trips in the largest lake in Southern Europe, heatwaves up to 44 degrees celsius in Greece, offroad sand dune riding in Olympos, cultural exchanges including opal turning in Cappadocia and trying to decode 30 year old maps along the black sea are all part of the trip. And of course occasional stops in garages all over the world to give the bikes some love and fix one or another little problem; custom bikes, custom trip.

Stay tuned, because not just the temperature will stay hot.

On the edge of Harajuku, a bold new sign has risen - The Residence of Impermanence - in Harajuku, Tokyo, is back. Art, surfboards, motorcycles, apparel, café, music - a place where all kinds of enthusiasms collide. Step inside to the Deus Café - a breezy open ceiling space, serving all-day breakfast and the perfect energy for every moment. We're not ones to argue with that. Climb the spiral staircase to surfboards quietly lined against a softly lit backdrop.

Shaped exclusively for the Residence by Takuya “Tappy” Yoshikawa, Tetsuya Ogawa, and Jared Mell, each board is one of a kind. Sofas once beloved at the former Harajuku store — crafted by TRUCK Furniture and Stephen Kenn — have been reupholstered and brought to life for their next chapter. They’ll take on new character with time — just like this place. We invite you to settle in and enjoy the flow.
