Powdertools Pop-Up - The Pocket Of Tenacity opens in Meribel

Exactly 969 kilometers from our French Flagship in Biarritz, Deus Ex Machina has given birth to its first high altitude prodigy, The POCKET OF TENACITY in Meribel, France.

Host of the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics, Meribel is a pre-war ski resort in the French alps, created in 1938 by the Lindsay Family, which has approximately 2,000 inhabitants in it's off season, and spiking to over 30,000 in the winter season.

We couldn’t have found a more welcoming, warm and unique location to set-up our first winter focused pop-up store, right here in the center of Meribel, in la Galerie des Cimes.

A powder sanctuary divided in two parts. Upstairs; the Adyton of our temple, a secret nest with our Deus Powder Tools capsule collection in its heart. Downstairs; the main stage, our bar where you can enjoy one of our finest cocktails as well as the best beers. A condensed venue full of potency and enthusiasm.

All the way from Japan, between “fromage de montagne” and fresh French powder, live's the second home of Deus Power Tools.

À exactement 969 kilomètres de notre étendard français à Biarritz, Deus Ex Machina voit naître son premier prodige d’altitude : The POCKET OF TENACITY.

On the edge of Harajuku, a bold new sign has risen - The Residence of Impermanence - in Harajuku, Tokyo, is back. Art, surfboards, motorcycles, apparel, café, music - a place where all kinds of enthusiasms collide. Step inside to the Deus Café - a breezy open ceiling space, serving all-day breakfast and the perfect energy for every moment. We're not ones to argue with that. Climb the spiral staircase to surfboards quietly lined against a softly lit backdrop.

Shaped exclusively for the Residence by Takuya “Tappy” Yoshikawa, Tetsuya Ogawa, and Jared Mell, each board is one of a kind. Sofas once beloved at the former Harajuku store — crafted by TRUCK Furniture and Stephen Kenn — have been reupholstered and brought to life for their next chapter. They’ll take on new character with time — just like this place. We invite you to settle in and enjoy the flow.

Same name. New form. The spirit remains, just slightly rearranged. Come in, stay awhile. Find us at 2-32-5 Jingumae, Shibuya-Ku, BPR Square Jingumae 1-1F & 2F Tokyo.
