Nicole Gozzer and the boys take a trip up the coast
We jumped in the truck early this morning and set off up the coast to a little bay we know of, in aims to escape the rising swell and wind that it comes with. Jai Lee has collaborated on a longboard design for Deus Customs, shaped by the one and only Thomas 'Doc' Bexon and they just finished it off and stuck a fin in it last night….But that's a story for a different time.
So Jai, Thomas, Nicole, Monty, Johnny Lee and myself headed east and pulled up at a rocky bay with a nice peeling right. While I stayed warm on dry land, Nicole Gozzer, a regular second photographer to the Deus family, grabbed her water housing and hopped across the rocks and into the water.
This is the result of our afternoon session shot by Miss Gozzer herself, some tasty shots if you ask me. Hopefully the wind dies down a little but more for tomorrows session…Stay tuned for that one!

On the edge of Harajuku, a bold new sign has risen - The Residence of Impermanence - in Harajuku, Tokyo, is back. Art, surfboards, motorcycles, apparel, café, music - a place where all kinds of enthusiasms collide. Step inside to the Deus Café - a breezy open ceiling space, serving all-day breakfast and the perfect energy for every moment. We're not ones to argue with that. Climb the spiral staircase to surfboards quietly lined against a softly lit backdrop.

Shaped exclusively for the Residence by Takuya “Tappy” Yoshikawa, Tetsuya Ogawa, and Jared Mell, each board is one of a kind. Sofas once beloved at the former Harajuku store — crafted by TRUCK Furniture and Stephen Kenn — have been reupholstered and brought to life for their next chapter. They’ll take on new character with time — just like this place. We invite you to settle in and enjoy the flow.
